Signs of Spring

I’ve been home a lot lately.  The weather has been really wet – rain and snow – making driving treacherous.   I can’t complain.  We need the water so badly and I don’t even want to think about reliving the forest fires of last summer.  But even though we need it, the day after day of dark, cold, wet weather is depressing.  The beginning of the week, I did something to my back, so I’ve been babying myself and having a love affair with the electric heating pad and an ice pack in the form of a bag of frozen peas.  It’s given me time to get caught up on paperwork, watch a ton of “B” movies, and hang out on Facebook.

We had a break in the cold, wet weather, so I took time to venture out and see what was happening.  Small signs of spring greeted me, so I thought I would share.  It always amazes me how these signs make me so happy…

And give me hope!

Hey! Your bulbs are already up? I was so excited to see ours poking through the ground yesterday. LOL Oh, well, I guess that is the price I must pay for living in Zion! ;)

I happend upon your page whilst researching Tenba messenger bags.

I quite like some of your work. I find it softly intimate.

    Cheers.
