Private One-on-One Lessons
Please contact me directly for one-on-one training. Lessons are $25 for an hour in the Chico-Paradise area. You must have your own DSLR camera. Lesson topics can include how to use your camera, shooting in manual mode, photographing people, landscape photography, off-camera flash, post-processing in Photoshop, etc. Your topic choice and payment is due when you schedule your lesson.
One-on-One Lessons for CORE Butte Charter School
I offer one-on-one beginning photography lessons for CORE students in the upper elementary, middle and high school ages. Lessons are 25 EUs per hour, once a week – 12 lessons in total. We will cover all the basics of exposure: aperture, speed, and ISO; white balance, depth of field, rules of composition; focus; lighting options, portrait & landscape photography, silhouettes, basic post processing, etc. A digital SLR camera is recommended. Just Shoot It Group Classes
A few times a year, I will offer group beginning classes. Just Shoot It and Just Shoot It For Teens will introduce you to the basics of shooting manually with your Digital SLR camera, with practical experience shooting with live models. Landscape photography tips are also presented. Bring your digital SLR camera or higher-end point & shoot camera, plus your camera manual. This class is for ages 14 and up. No small children please.
