Frequently Asked Questions
Here are a few answers to the most frequently asked questions:
Q. I would like you to take my wedding/family/senior pictures. What do I do now?
A. Please call or email me to check the date and time you would like your pictures taken. Then, let's set up a time when we can get together and discuss what you are looking for in your photos. Let's get to know each other! This is especially important for weddings and special events. Then, if you are ready to book your wedding, event or photo session, I'll have a contract ready for your approval. To reserve your session, I need a signed contract, and 50% of the wedding fee, or the portrait session price. This fee is non-refundable, but can be applied to another session if you need to reschedule.
Q. I received a CD with all my wedding photos. The pictures are great, but they don't look exactly like the sneak peek photos I saw on your blog. How come?
A. The digital photo files you receive on your CD or DVD are full sized files ready for printing or for personal use however you would like. These files are color corrected and adjusted for best exposure. They are not retouched or edited in any other way. Photos on my blog have been retouched and edited. Some have added special effects. Here is an example of the difference between an original photo, a color-corrected photo on your CD, and a retouched photo:

Q. How can I get copies of retouched, etc. photos?
A. Prints in sizes 5x7 or larger purchased from me are retouched and edited for free. I can remove acne and smooth wrinkles, etc. I can also do some basic editing to minimize double chins, brighten eyes, whiten teeth, and remove braces. If you like, I can also add special effects to your photo.
Q. Can I get a digital copy of a retouched photo?
A. Yes. The purchase price for a retouched digital photo is the same as an 8x10 print.
